From "The Whole Story" series, which uses a documentary approach to tell great tales with: complete unabridged text as originally published, annotated with extended captions, explanations of history, popular culture, y social customs of the time.
The story of Dorian Gray: his painting reflects the unsavory ugliness he practices while his own visage remains unblemished and beautiful to see.
By the way, the film with George Sanders and Angela Lansbury is quite good and true to this story in mi opinion.
