Welcome to BookBlips!

Here are remarks for:
BOOK NUMBER TWO
SUBJECT MATTER: Biography-Youth
TITLE:Helen Keller, Her Life in Pictures
AUTHOR: George Sullivan
PUBLISHER: Scholastic Nonfiction
COPYRIGHT: 2007, 80 pages
Who was Helen Keller? This is a good book to educate you about this great American woman. Left deaf and blind following an illness that struck her at 19 months, she triumphed over these disabilities becoming an ambassador of sorts for the blind, the deaf, victims of war, and world peace. She graduated college, wrote books and articles, gave lectures, and helped raise millions of dollars for organizations that aided the blind.
This book displays many interesting pictures of Helen Keller from practically her entire life.
Did you know that from 1901 to 1957 she visited 39 countries on six continents?
Neither did I.
Check out this book for a very good review and telling in pictures what she was all about.
You won't regret it!
